I feel that in the anticipation of what 2009 has to bring, especially the Röyksopp album, it is time to move on. My friend Will of The Cold Cut has already done it and I'm curious to see what he will be able to bring up with his new site.
I won't go as far as to moving to USA as him, however, but at least it's time for me to reveal the human half of my twisted anthropomorphic persona. You can see it above. That's just a preview of what is to come.
I'm incredibly proud of what I've accomplished through and sometimes, sigh, without Blogger's help with The Lemur Blog. I will in a not too distant future move The Lemur Blog elsewhere. But I will certainly let this site stand here as a monument of what music is really capable of. I've brought people closer. Artists closer. Listeners closer. The music closer. Closer to a common ground and just maybe a sometimes well needed alienated relationship. And that is all I could ever ask for.
Let the music play! Thank you for reading! I hope you will follow my future projects on and, if we're lucky, off the world wide web! Any news will be posted here as soon as they're ready so check back! And check the back catalogue! A whole lot of stuff is still available through zshare, folks! Not to mention videos, reviews, and general chatting away.
The last thing I want to say is unless you are able to let go of your grip and throw yourself out there, you might not reach any further than you do now. It takes courage to enjoy it: The hardcore and gentle BIG TIME SENSUALITY!

Although i have been reading your blog only since the last few months, it has become one of my favourites. Originally discovered through the hype machine, I soon found out that The Lemur not only has a great taste in music which very close resembles my own, he also has a good sense of humour (hence the justice joke) and knows what he's talking about. Knowing he is years younger than I, I sometimes regret not having started my own blog at that age.
I think a bright future will be ahead for The Lemur. For a sure I will stay following this guy's steps!

I always think it is better to market your own product. There are so many products out there that are absolute junk! If you have Camtasia studio your possible product line is huge.
With the fast development of the world wide internet today, lots of online business comes up everyday. Selling digital products could be a good start. As long as you know to deal with your customers, I guess you will surely make money.

I don't think the rules are as strict when you're on a self-hosted blog, since you're not directly linked with the wordpress.com domain, but that may just be me.
The best thing you can do for yourself is to automate the delivery of your product. Create a thank you page that has a link to your product’s downloadable file. Make sure you thank your customer for their purchase too.
I have to agree, once you setup the automatic payment system and delivery of the product, it is pretty easy. The reason why more people don’t do it, is because creating the ebooks is not easy.
