Kent are amazing and really deserve international success! Although I've got to say I way prefer their songs in Swedish, they just don't feel as right in English...
Nice selection you chose, although I would've picked Kärleken väntar from V&A :)
Unfortunately I doubt that this box set will ever be available in South Africa, so I'm considering Amazon.de as my best option right now :(
You don't happen to know Swedish do you? If not, big shame because Jocke Berg's lyrics are appealingly dark, cold and brutally witty.
And yea, the English re-interpretations aren't that great.
I've been trying to learn Swedish, (mainly from Kent songs actually hahaha). I know some German and it's quite similar, when written anyway.
Yeah I have read up enough to agree that his lyrics are great, dark and witty like you said and really match the music, something a lot of bands can't get right.
Just hearing 747 translated put me off them in English, they changed the whole meaning of the song completely, it makes no sense in English...and Jocke's voice sounds kinda funny in English :)

Don't wanna be the party crasher here, I really love Kent, specially vapen och ammunition, i really miss a live DVD form them! but beign a Gyllene Tider fan it's hard to affirm that there are something bigger than them in Scandinavia.
