Music blogville news

So basically what happened first was that there was a promo-seeking e-mail sent out to all the bigger music blogs we all know and love a couple of weeks ago. And what happened was that everyone started using this as a place to have a friendly chat with all on the "blog-star list". Resulting in everyone having their mailboxes bombarded with e-mails due to a heavy use of the reply to all button. Haha. I think a few other different "promoters" used this list later for other purposes. As an example, another e-mail with by me unknown origin featuring a promo for a blog that posted MGMT - Electric Feel (Justice Remix) resulted in a second wave of comments and bombardments.

You wouldn't believe how irritated and rude some of the bloggers became, while others were amused, as me :P. My good compatriots in Discobelle saw a solution to the sudden talkative spirit of the blogosphere and started a forum.

So here we are now, with a secret, underground, exclusive VIP forum turning out to be for bloggers only. There we can chat and spread the latest music and discuss different topics we come up with. I think it's great and believe me: I will see to that the music blogs in this forum unite and cooperate, because I truly believe that if we do, we have enough publicity and hence power to take control of the world's music submission and steer it the way we want. It's an invite-forum only, so if you run or write for a music blog, give me a shout and I'll see if I can recommend you. I hope you're as excited as I am about this, because this could mean an improvement for everyone involved in the music blogs: the writers, the readers, the artists. But mostly for us bloggers, muhahaha! You can't stop us now. We're bloggers and we're united and still untied. And that's the truth, Ruth. Have a free legal track! :)
