NW MSTRKRFT

I've got the latest buzzed about MSTRKRFT tracks for ya if you haven't snatched them yet. VUVUVU is so simple but effective that it is unbelievable no one has done it until now. But if anyone should base an electro banger around one single psychedelic loop it should be the Candian duo. Bounce features quite prominent vocals for a MSTRKRFT track. But neither of the tracks reaches up to any of the songs from their debut LP The Looks. I hope the rumoured second LP to be released this year will see some artistic action forward from the duo. Misunderstand me right, MSTRKRFT is always MSTRKRFT but VUVUVU and Bounce are relatively flat in a general context, despite being catchy. Then it's good that their latest remix is top notch electrohouse. Their remix of Jesse McCartney's latest single Leavin' from his upcoming third album Departure set for a release approximately around May 20 is a treat for our organic hearing devices. It resembles the style and structure of the remix of Kylie's Wow. This is probably one of the few times I could really enjoy Jesse's music. Thank MSTRKRFT for that!
