This guy has been in my music library for quite a while and I've been enjoying his bangin' tracks way to long without a post now. Dmitry Fyodorov is Swedish, no doubt, despite the fact that it says Russia at his myspace and produces wicked electrohouse, despite the fact that it says Death Metal / House at his myspace. As a matter of fact he is signed to one of my favourite Swedish labels: Adrian Recordings. Check out some short clips from his gigs here! He seems to be one of those who feel comfortable behind masks while DJing. He made a fun edit of The Village People's Sex Over The Phone and a classically electrolicious edit of Blue Monday. The seven-minute long banger Carnage sounds influenced by Daft Punk's Aerodynamic. 1987 is a new track and here's some info about it from the Adrian Recordings mail I received:

"The whole reason we chose to release new Dmitry Fyodorov songs the 29th of every month is the opportunity to release something on this leap day of the 29th of February.

The second track in Dmitry Fyodorov’s shocking series of bangers 2008 takes us back to the cold war. “1987” is a tribute of the same year. The year when Soviet met Canada in Canada Cup. At this time Soviet hockey players weren't allowed to play in the NHL, so the Russian players went over to Canada to show the rest of the world how to play a noble game of hockey . Sadly Soviet lost the game, but the game is considered one of the best hockey games every played by some experts. A true showcase of great hockey."
