Booka Shade doesn't really count this as one of their remixes. Instead the track is referred to as "Booka Shade and M.A.N.D.Y. - Oh Superman", mind the different spelling. But I don't care what they and M.A.N.D.Y. call their remake of Laurie Anderson's solemnly classic O Superman. For me it's a remix. The track has already been featured on this blog, as well as the original. When Booka Shade and M.A.N.D.Y. adds beats and gives the track a minimalistic dance/club/electrohouse feel and still keep, or actually bring forth, the immense beauty in it I have to stand up and applaud. The tweeting birds was a flash of genius.
